When we received Iris’s order, we found her accompanying message very interesting. She wrote that she was “very pleased to tell you that the UN-SKRU has been helping me for so many years. I was so pleased with it that I sent an order for more. I am sure my relatives and friends have enjoyed theirs, as they have all ordered more for their loved ones.
With arthritic hands, it was hard for Iris, an actress who won two acting awards for her role in “Driving Miss Daisy,” to play the piano. She ended her note with enthusiasm: “I am really one of your greatest fans.”
It’s gratifying to receive letters like Iris’s. Helping people avoid injury when opening difficult jar lids is rewarding. The kitchen should be a place for fun, sharing and socializing, not for frustration and possible injury to fingers or hands when struggling with a difficult jar.
